Corpus Welfare
Welfare-held events occur throughout term time, including a number of Dessert Nights, Pizza Nights and MCR Brunches on a Sunday morning. These events are generally "drop in" (i.e. you can decide whether to come on the morning/evening), do not feature alcohol, and are a wonderful opportunity to meet other members of the MCR in informal surroundings, for a gossip, moan, or simply some free food. You will be invited to these events, either via a termcard in your pidge, or by email to the MCR mailing list.
Outside of these events, James, Monica and the Peer Supporters are happy to meet at any time for a coffee, beer or simply just a chat across the dining table in Hall. This can range from something on your mind, to academic problems, to family upheaval. Remember, what may seem like a small problem to one person can be a catastrophe to another, so do not feel that your problem is "too trivial". trivial". All the above people can be contacted by phone or by email.
