The Bursar
Ben Ruck Keene has been Bursar of the College since 1989. He attended the University of York (taking a BA in Social and Economic History), went on to study at Inns of Court School of Law, and was called to the Bar at Gray's Inn in 1972. Before he joined Corpus, Ben was in practice on the North Eastern Circuit as a member of the chambers of John Cobb QC (later Mr Justice Cobb) at 11 King's Bench Walk, and a Director of Credit Suisse Asset Management (formerly Buckmaster & Moore) between 1984 and 1989.
In addition to his responsibilities at College, he is also a Justice of the Peace for Oxfordshire; a member of the Advisory Committees of the Charities Property Fund and the Isis College Funds I and II; Governor of Pate's Grammar School and Tudor Hall (Vice Chairman); Chairman of the University Property Committee; and a member of the University Investment Committee and a Trustee of the Oxford University Pensions Scheme.
