Home - Corpus Christi College MCR

This website is the home for graduate students of Corpus Christi College, Oxford.

Corpus Christi was founded in 1517 and is amongst Oxford’s oldest colleges. Its 16th and 18th century buildings are some of the most beautiful in Oxford, and it enjoys an unrivalled position, overlooking gardens and meadows yet within five minutes walk of the city centre and the Bodleian Library.

The graduate community is small – with 115 postgraduate students. The staff includes 33 academic Fellows, all of them distinguished teachers and researchers in their fields. The remarkable 16th century library, which still boasts its original furnishings but is fully equipped with modern networking facilities, contains 80,000 books and carries 80 journals.
Up-to-date accommodation, including internet access in every room, is provided for most postgraduates.

The College also possesses excellent facilities for sport, music and drama.
Corpus is proud of its reputation for friendliness and sense of community. The ethos is one of academic excellence, and the College aims to attract the most talented and committed students, irrespective of origin or background.
